Elisa Casal Gomez, a Master's student and participant in the European RePowerSiC project, presented the results of her research at the 7th International Conference on Application of Optics and Photonics (AOP 2026), held in Lisbon, Portugal, from July 7 to 10, 2026. 

Her work, entitled "Experimental Validation and Numerical Simulation of a 520 nm Optical Wireless Power Transmission System", was selected for an oral presentation, providing an opportunity to share the project's latest research findings with an international audience of scientists and engineers working in optics and photonics. 

The presentation showcased the experimental validation and numerical modelling of a 520 nm optical wireless power transmission system, contributing to ongoing advances in efficient optical power transfer technologies. Elisa's participation highlights RePowerSiC's commitment to fostering young researchers and promoting the dissemination of cutting-edge scientific results at leading international conferences. 

Participation in AOP 2026 also provided an excellent platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and strengthening collaborations within the international optics and photonics research community.
